- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Independence Medical is NOT a part of, nor ever has been a part of O'Brian Healthcare. Independence Medical was incorporated in March of 2004 by a previous employee of O'Brian Healthcare. The same ex-employee continued to work for O'Brian Healthcare until July of 2004, even though he already established a competing business. O'Brian Healthcare chose not to prosecute Mark Braziel for pirating and theft. Payroll records will confirm his departure in July of 2004.
